他说:“Looks like you're pretty used to turning people down.”(看起来你拒绝人很熟练嘛!) You're beautiful.”(害,很正常,毕竟是美人嘛!)
“Thank you,”她说,“for appearing in this strange, magical journey of mine. And thank you for telling me you like me.”(谢谢你出现在我的奇幻旅行里,谢谢你告诉我你喜欢我。)
檬恩的声音继续响着,不疾不徐:“What I feel is mine. It doesn't speak for you. But I truly believe that both of us… want the same thing. Something genuine. Something close to beauty. And I find a lot of joy in that.”(我的主观不代表你的主观,但是我相信我们两个都是最真诚、最接近美好的想法,这一点我觉得很愉快。)
她顿了一下,声音更轻了一些:“I'm really, really glad that the person standing in front of that mirror that day was you. That it was you who saw me. I've always felt lucky about that. Truly lucky that the soul I met was so kind, so gentle, so lovely.”(说起来,真的很开心,那天在镜子面前的人是你,是你看见了我。
“The only thing connecting us,”檬恩说,“is a mirror we still don't fully understand. It broke the laws of time and space. But we don't know how long it will last.
“You see,”她说,“we can't predict how long this will last. And we can't give each other equally. Maybe I like you too. Maybe I do. But I can't say yes.”(你看,我们不仅无法预知持续时间,我们还不能对等的付出。
