I really love this story. I can't say it, it's amazing. In an ancient themed story with a royal palace setting, I really like the MC's character. I think she seems to have a strong mind, a tiger pretending to be a pig. There are several chapters where it is mentioned that the MC thinks that Huangdi is using her as a chess piece and vice versa that Huangdi also thought of making the MC a chess piece. But I don't know in what way the chess pieces are used, or act. Whereas I didn't see the MC acting domineering or acting like a pitiful looking xiao baihua everywhere, because there are those who look more dominant than her, and there are those who look more pathetic than her. So I don't see her role as a chess piece. She's just involved in cases too often, thus making her someone who could move the royal court, even though in the end she was determined to be the victim. I have thought several times that Huangdi is reborn, so I have been guessing when his rebirth will be. Because seeing a painting of a woman while dreaming is rather impressive. Even though the dream didn't make him can protect, trust or even love that person. I think that the dream that came at the beginning of Huangdi's life was really useless, because it didn't mean anything. It would be better for him to have the dream when he was already familiar with her. So I don't feel the least bit disappointed because of the low level of feelings between them.
