　　Nian Liangfu stared at the mahjong tables the servants had clumsily hauled halfway to the door, wishing he could black out immediately.

　　“Truly yes, Footboy Nian You stand there dumbfounded when honored guests grace you,” Minister Liao beside him chuckled, turning to Nian Liangfu, “This is Director Bai of Customs, a man I hardly coax to dine with me. I was utterly astonished when he agreed to come here today.”
　　*TN：这里是称呼家养小厮”小年”，如果用Little Nian更像是称呼年亮富生了个未长大的小孩子。Page或者Page Boy很合适，是指贵族的贴身小厮（参考来源：佐罗电视剧版），但是考虑到Page Nian可能会读起来有歧义，因此改为Footboy，对应Nanny同等身份。

　　Bai Xuelan glanced over with an easy smile, “You flatter me,Maître Liao. Have I ever declined your invitations?”
　　*TN：这里白雪岚戏称”廖翁”，一来，有尊称的意思，二来，又有古语的用法，为了体现两方面的意思，借用了法语的称呼Maître（类似于英文Master），考虑白雪岚法留学生，这个称呼也不会很突兀。
