119、Chapter 119: Farewell Young

　　姑娘，为什么我们的命就这么的苦呀！

　　“你现在知道力量的重要性了吧?人生在世，一个人只有自身能力足够强时才不会受他人欺负，才能真真正正的堂堂正正站起来做人。虽然我们生来，每个人都会学会走路，所以但凡有脚的人都会走路，可是大部份人脚下走的路不是人生路，大部分人实际上在人生道路上连站都没有站起来，只是在地上爬而已。而我们就属于这类没有站起来的人，我们就是这群在地上爬行的人。一个连站都站不起来的人，又有何资格要求什么人格、尊严、公平、公正呢？”

　　"Their abilities determine the extent of a person's choices. The notions of fairness and justice in this world are subjective. You can only attain fairness when you possess the necessary abilities. Without them, everything is in vain. No matter how lofty and noble the words sound, they are empty talk."

　　“人有多大能力，就有多少选择。这世间所谓的公平与公正都是相对的，你唯有有这个能力去获得公平，你才有公平。若无能力，一切皆是枉然。再多冠冕堂皇的话都是空谈。”

　　"We strive to become stronger to create and protect what we hold dear. The challenges and limited choices we face today result from our weaknesses and shortcomings."

　　“我们之所以要变得更强大只是为了创造和守护自己最珍惜的东西。我们今日的难处和没有选择都是因为自己太弱，太差。”

　　"In this world, the strong prey on the weak, where only the fittest survive, and competition determines one's fate. Therefore, we cannot blame others for our predicament. Overcoming our limitations and rising above is up to us."

　　“这世间是这本来就是个弱肉强食，物竞天择，适者生存的地方，所以除了我们自身，怨不得其他人。”

　　"It's not your fault, you have done pretty well, and you shouldn't blame yourself. My lady."

　　“姑娘，这不是你的错，你已经做的够好了。你不应该再责怪自己。”

　　"Why are you crying? It's normal for girls like us. It's our fate. We are not proper ladies. Even the laws don't protect girls like us."

　　“你为何哭? 对于我们这样身份的女子来说，这很正常，这是我们的命。因为我们不是良家姑娘，律法也对我们有偏见。”

　　"Don't cry. Crying is useless. Tears can't solve problems but only worsen our situation. Remember, tears are the most useless thing in the world. Only the weak and incompetent one will cry."

　　“不要哭，哭没有用，泪水解决不了问题，只会让我们自己的处境更差而已。记住，眼泪这个东西这个世间最没用的。只有弱者和没有能力的人才会常与眼泪作伴。”

　　"We must be as strong as we can be, and we must smile. Even if we fake the smile, we still have to smile."

　　“我们必须坚强，尽我们所能坚强。我们必须要笑，哪怕是假笑也要笑。”

　　"We originally made our living by entertaining others. This shouldn't be difficult for us."

　　“我们本是靠卖笑为生的，这对我们来说因该不难才是。”

　　She bitterly smiled as she said these words, but at least she could still smile – at least she could fake a smile.

　　她苦笑道，虽然是苦笑，但是至少她还能笑，至少她还能假笑.
