8、(eight)The Love Under Sky

　　Sam and I are sitting at the back of the car, Jason is driving and Kenny sits beside him. The sceneries along the way are beautiful. From my seat, I can see the left side of Kenny’s face, he is taking a nap. I just stare at him. Unexpectedly, he’s eyes open and his head turned to me and smile to me. It’s really awkward; I turned my sight quickly towards the window. “It’s so stupid, staring at Kenny, and discover by him.” While I am blaming myself I saw there is a man wearing black wind coat stand beside the jackstraw and a crow stand on the jackstraw and I can feel he is looking at us, I rub my eyes, the man disappeared only the crow till standing there. I called out “Did you guys see there is man just standing there and watching us?”

　　“Huh? No. I didn’t see it. Are you sure there is a man? Jason, did you see him?” Sam asked.

　　“Mm, no, I didn’t see it.” Jason answered.

　　Sam looks at Kenny, “Me either.” He said, but his face is a little stark.

　　“Maybe you saw it wrong.” Sam guesses.

　　“Yup, maybe. I didn’t sleep well last night.” Though I say that, but I haven’t felt relieved yet. I have a bad feeling. I look to Kenny, he is looking at the crow and his sight is cold.

　　“Kenny? Are you ok?”

　　“Yes, I am fine.” He recovers his sight and smile.

　　We’ve arrived the hostel in evening. Kenny and Jason go to talk to the owner of the hostel. Our rooms are on the second floor so Sam and I walk upstairs.
　　“Sarah, look! There is a black cat in the corner.” Sam said and pointed to the corner of the stairs.

　　“Yeah, it’s so cute!” The cat it’s really cute and it has a blue eye and a green eye.

　　“Whose cat is this? Kitty, kitty, come here.” Sam asked and beckoning the cat.

　　The cat walks graceful toward us. The cat stops in front of us, and miaowing there. I bow and want to stroke the cat.

　　“Sarah!” I turned my head, it’s Kenny. Jason and John the owner of the hostel are beside him.

　　“Kenny, here is a cat! It’s so cute.” I said.

　　Kenny looks at the cat, and I feel his sight becomes cold, just like when we were at the car and he look at the crow. The cat runs away. I look back to Kenny, he is still staring at me, and his blue eyes are tender.

　　“Whose cat is this?” John asked.

　　“It’s not yours?” Sam is wondered.

　　“No, it’s not. My wife is allergy to cat.”

　　“Em, maybe is a wildcat.” Jason said.

　　We continue walk upstairs. Our room is beside Kenny and Jason’s room. “Have a good rest. We are going to skiing tomorrow!” Jason said. Then we enter our rooms. It’s a simplicity room; the wall is light yellow. I take a shower first. “Sam, it’s your term.”

　　I open the window, the fresh air pours in the room. The night sky is clear, stars shining in the sky. I walk into the little garden behind the hostel and sit on the grass. Wind blows softly. I look up to the sky, Orion and Triones are still there.

　　“What are you looking at?” Kenny come and sits beside me.

　　“Orion and Triones. The sky is beautiful.” I said.

　　Then there is a silence between us.

　　“Sarah, do you believe ‘love at first sight’?” Suddenly Kenny asked.

　　“Huh?” I am amazed. Turned my head and look at him, he is looking at me too, with his blue eyes fill with tender.

　　“I believe in that, because when I first saw you, I know you are the one I am looking for. I love you, Sarah.”

　　“I…”

　　“It’s ok, you don’t need to answer me now. You can think about it these two days. I will wait for you.” He smiles to me just like first time he did.

　　“Thank you.” I nodded my head and said.

　　“I have some thing for you, here.” He takes out a necklace from his pocket. The pendant has the same shape with his earring.

　　“Let me help put the necklace on.” Kenny put the necklace on my neck. His hand is still cool.

　　“Um. It’s beautiful. Thank you.”

　　“No matter what, don’t take off the necklace, ok?” I raise my head and heard Kenny said.
