《The lord of snake》冰 δ 月光之尘

1、第 1 章

　　When I was young, I was told never went into the forbidden forest in the forest, it was said to be a very dangerous place to go, in the forest lived the lord of snake, he would ate everyone who went into the forest. So for hundreds no one in my tribe dared to go into the forbidden forest.

　　But it was really a very beautiful place, I always want to go inside it, the birds were singing happily on the tall trees, the spring was running merrily in the forest. But I never dared to go into it, till that day…..

　　My mother died when I was very young, my father married a young woman who gave birth into a little brother for my family. She didn’t like me, and treat me badly as if I was a servant of her, asked me to do all things she can find, do the cooking, do the house work, pick wood, taking care of my little brother and wash the clothes.

　　I always went to stay by the side of the forbidden forest, to listen to the singing of the birds and the spring, I wished one day I could go into the forbidden forest, the deep green forest, it seemed to have magic power to me, I feel it was a special power which pulled me into the deep side of the forbidden forest.

　　One day, in the bitterly cold winter, I was washing clothes by the side of the river, it was so cold, my hand in the frozen river seemed to ache into my bone, it took me nearly half a whole day to wash all the clothes,

　　But when the time I thought I could release from the hard work for a time, I heard the voice of Gaya and his friends, Gaya was the prince of our tribe, the second boy of the leader.

　　He’s a playboy doing nothing all days, don’t like his elder brother Ellen who was liked by all the presbyters in our tribe.

　　“Oh, it’s Melissa; the lover in your dream! Gaya.” One boy shouted with happy voice.

　　“Melissa! My beauty.” Gaya went near to me.

　　I am very afraid and stepped back, but he became nearer and nearer to me.
　　In a hurry, my feet hit the basket with held the clothes I had washed, the basket slipped along the polished stone into the river, all the clothes float in the river and quickly flowed far away with the cold water.

　　“Don’t come near for one step or I’ll jumped into the river.” I shouted angrily with all my energy to Gaya and his young fellows.

　　Tears went down my cheek till they had gone far away. I held on so hard and don’t let myself cry out, I paralysis on the stone, and hold myself with my crossing arms, I felt so cold, not only my body, but also my heart, it’s such a cold world, I can’t find not a little warm. The horrible image of my step-mother bit on me heavily appeared in my head, I don’t want to go home, and home seemed equal to the hell in my head. I don’t like all people; I only want to escape from them

　　I ran into the forbidden forest, I’d rather to die and ate by the big snake, than to go home and treated like a pig. Cold wind blow on my face, but I can feel pain, I became numb in my feeling. Like go mad, I run uncased in the forest
