　　Environmental problems, that is an inevitable obstacle hindering the process of civilization. For the consideration of future of human beings, several strict measures have been done to set restrictions towards something that will cost a higher pollution. On the other hand, some people are advocating leading a peaceful and quiet life where they just walk to school, using fans instead of air conditioners, etc. The style of their life is much simpler but it is also much more inconvenient. There's a strong debate in society concerning problems whether we should give ways to environmental cause to sacrifice our own potable life style. From my perspective, it is really necessary for us to be bent on a simple life, at least in the impending several years. The reason which will account for the opinion can be listed as the limited advanced technology, natural instinct and precious culture.
　　The first reason I would like to illustrate is the underdeveloped technology. Granted, if technology is advanced enough, there's a chance to cope with the controversy between the convenience and ecology. However, when humans reach that height of civilization, the cost for that is a long-term and devastating environmental destruction. As a result, before scientists eventually develop enough advanced technology, we should take responsibility towards previous ecological problems.
　　Secondly, people are one of the animals at the core that enables us to do anything we really want to do, while our ethical code and value system instructing us to go back to nature. Actually, the willingness to the simple, even primitive life is quite ordinary and irresistible. It is of great significance for us to follow our inner heart.
　　Last but not least, there is no denying that the previous culture should be cherished and venerated. With respect to prehistorical times in China, there are a considerable amount of documents concerning the environmental protection. It is the provoking thinking of the ancestors in China that leaves us the awareness of the combination of people and nature which should be though highly of. The culture is a powerful reminder, which needs us to evaluate, inherit and reserve.
　　To sum up, regardless of whether the technology which will create no contamination will be a reality, we ought to lead a simple life now. The saved environment and the motivated culture will be accomplished via everyone's effort.
