02 Rebecca
The room was dark but spacious. Seven people were gathered around an old log table. It's a big dinner, but no one was in the mood for it. All the faces were solemn.
At this moment, an old man with white hair came in, looking sixty or seventy years old. He cleared his throat. "Welcome to Crepuscolo. The details are all laid out in the manual. It seems that I don't need to say more. Just a final piece of advice. Don't die here."
"Hey, old man. What the hell is this?" A strong man grabbed the old man by the collar.
"This is god's trial." The old man was expressionless.
"Could you please be a little quieter? Little asshole." Rebecca was impatient.
"What the fuck are you just saying?" He took the shotgun off his back, loaded it, and shouted, "Are you just want to die? Bitch!"
It seemed become awkward, at that moment. "Please, please calm down," a woman with an Asian face said nervously.
"Don't be that cocky. If you really want to die, I don't mind giving you a ride." Rebecca said it lightly, as if she were saying, "it's a good day." But it did succeed in infuriating the man in front of him.
"Go to the hell! "He cried hysterically, slamming the trigger on his right forefinger.
Surprisingly, the shots didn't go off as expected. The hammer was caught by a piece of paper. Subconsciously, he tried to remove the piece of paper, only to find a sharp pain in his abdomen. After a good knee crash, Rebecca grabbed the gun and hit him hard on the head with the butt. The man fell to the floor in pain. He struggled to his feet, grabbed a knife and rushed at Rebecca. "go to the hell!".
With a loud bang, the man's body was ripped apart by several lead bullets flying by, and he fell in a pool of blood screaming. Now, no one can keep calm. Everyone's expressions became fantastic.
"Well, it's quiet now." Rebecca sat down as if nothing had happened, and then her face became serious. "The danger of this place is plain to you all. So anything that undermines unity, this guy, is a role model."
"Who, who are you?" It was the young Asian woman who first broke the brief silence.
"Rebecca·Raymond."
"Oh? The most wanted criminal. No wonder it feels familiar." It was a young man with brown hair. He waved his hand. "Don't look at me like that. Jack·Valentine, a freelancer."
"Umm, where, where was that old man?" the young Asian woman said with somewhat tension, and then they discovered that the old man already disappeared.
