2、後記

　　Virus

　　I put on my clothes carefully. My partner and I check around our clothes to see if there are any holes to let air in. I look at my partner .He doesn’t smile to me. Anyway, I give the same reaction to him.

　　“ No. 412 and no. 521, you are allowed to go out to the city. Search the index patient and bring her back, no matter she is dead or alive.” A voice comes through my ears. Actually, I don’t like this voice, but I must follow his order. “Two.”
　　I call my partner in short. “ Let’s go.” But he never answers me.

　　With the given information, we know that the index patient is now in a city called “Tai”. As I know, she is also the last patient who is infected by this virus.
　　Suddenly, I feel sad. Yes, in my heart, I am quite sympathetic with her. I know, at this time, no matter I bring her… or her body back, she will have the same fate… disappear forever. I want to stop my steps, but I can’t. If I do so, I will have the same fate as her. Thus, I keep walking, as usual.

　　“Tai”, the city of the dead. Nobody will come here, except the ghosts. In history, this was a flourishing city. But that was the past. After the bombing of the union, the city died. The reason of the bombing? Who knows? May be in a war, or, to destroy the virus. I don’t know if the union succeeded or not. If they didn’t, than it is my job now.

　　I go into a building, and my partner…oops, where is he? I am shocked. He should be following my steps. “Never walk alone.” This is the law of the union. “The one who is alone will be infected.” Also, this is their word. I try to find him out, and I hear a sound from upstairs. Is it he? Or she? I don’t know, all I must do is to find him out and catch that girl.

　　I walk upstairs, and I feel something is moving. I take out my gun, follow the sound, and I am in a room. “Two?” I call his name, as usual, he never answers. “ Why are you here, Two?” I ask. Two turns round…Oh, he is smiling! And than I see someone is behind him, the girl .

　　I point my gun at Two. “Are you ok? Two.” He seems to be so happy. Oh my god, he must be infected. He comes to me, and he is going to touch me. “Sorry, Two.” I fires at him. Two falls down simply and is never awake. However, the girl is gone. I am searching for her…

　　When I am awake, that girl is kissing me. I want to run of course, but I can’t. I have lost my mind. I can feel warm currents running through my body. I know I am infected, but I enjoy it.

　　“Welcome to the normal life.” I hear what she say. I touch her face and I want to stay with her. “ Am I infected by virus ‘ Love’.” I ask.

　　She just gives me a smile.
